okay so, i didn't really do much yesterday. bid farewell to my cousins as they were going back to KL. they left at around 9am and then my mum and i went to geylang at 10am to buy stuffs to cook for the bbq on tuesday. then went back, ate and was on the comp for awhile. wan, my old friend called. talked for half an hour. its been such a long time since ive talked to him. so yeah. then went to sleep from 3 plus till 8 plus. i was really tired okay. woke up and then got changed and all and then went to meet my dad to eat dinner/supper at my area here. and now, i'm here blogging. i can't sleep! going to tampines GIANT later with my friends to buy stuffs. i hate that place. thanks to my event that i had in april. haha. it was a really great experience as we raised more than $70k for the President's Challenge! that's like double the amount expected. i was so proud of my team and myself of course. thanks to those who actually supported us yeah? and btw, if you are wondering what i'm talking about, i guess i should tell you about it since i'm bored.
every year, the peer support leaders would organize a mass CIP event which involves the whole school. few years back we had balloon day, chocolate day & last year we had break for charity. this year, the event name was Go WILD! For Charity. we collaborated with MATTEL and GIANT for this event. MATTEL sponsored the limited edition UNO cards for selling and the original decks for record breaking and GIANT sponsored us the venue. on 12th of april, temasek secondary students went all over singapore selling the limited edition UNO cards! it costs $2 for half a deck. and so, a week later the whole school went down to tampines giant and we broke two records! firstly, the most number of people playing uno at the same time. secondly, the largest heart formation made using the limited edition uno cards! it was successful and i did break down. cos i was happy and sad that it was finally over! haha. okay that's about it.Labels: friends, peer support leaders
