On Wednesday, 23rd Dec, a few Temasekians volunteered for the National Family Council 2010 Press Event. We named ourselves Halogen Youths cos we were under Halogen Foundation. All we had to do is to go down to the street and give out notebooks & postcards. It was tough at first but we got the hang of it after quite some time. We learn how to face rejections from the public. Well, at first I was quite embarrassed as we were told to give out the stuffs along Orchard Road outside Maritus Mandarin Hotel but in the end, I managed to overcome my fear & I did enjoyed myself. We also received a $10 Taka voucher! :D Here's a picture taken together with Mr Martin Tan from Halogen Foundation before we did our 'job'. Hope there's more of such events coming up!

Syairah, Munirah & myself met up on 18th December & we went to East Coast Park! We went roller skating and thereafter headed to Vivo to have our dinner at Banquet. Believe it or not, we skate all the way till the lagoon & cabbed down to the place where we rented the skates. Goodness! We were that tired okay! My feet were kind of swollen & I actually fell on my back once! :( Anyway, most of the pictures & videos were taken using Munirah's camera so I'll just have to be patient & wait for her to upload them.
